Cappadocia

Cappadocia, which is commonly known as the land of the beautiful horses, lies in the middle of today's Turkey. Cappadocia defines a geological area which covers five cities in central Anatolia. It is more accurate to accept that Cappadocia is a rather different travel destination.

Geological Cappadoica

There are three volcanoes surrounding this fairyland: Erciyes Volcano, Hasan Volcano, Melendiz Volcano. Today they are all extinguished volcanos yet they are the reason we see fairy chimneys, beautiful valleys and remarkable views.

Historical Cappadocia

Cappadocia is the home of the ancient history of Anatolian people. Cave houses, underground cities, cave churches are the best examples of the footprints of our ancestors.

Religious Cappadocia

Göreme Open Air Museum as a world heritage site of UNESCO, is one very good example of the cave monasteries. There are thousand years old fresco scenes decorating the inside of the caves. Today these monasteries and cave churches enlight the history of anatolian christianity.

Hot Air Balloon Tours

It is obvious that Cappadocia is attracting millions of tourists mainly thanks to the hot air balloon flights over the magical land. There are more than 150 balloons up in the air at one time each morning. Watching the sunrise from the balloon basket or taking beautiful pictures from view points as the balloons are in the background are the best reasons to visit Cappadocia.
